Holston Medical Group Welcomes Rebeka Skelton, PA-C, to HMG Urgent Care Centers, located at HMG Medical Plaza, 105 W Stone Drive, Suite 1F, Kingsport, TN, and HMG Urgent Care at Bristol, 350 Steeles Rd., Suite 1, Bristol, TN.

Skelton became interested in a career in the medical field because she has been a diabetic since she was six years old and saw firsthand the difference good healthcare can make in someone’s life. This sparked a strong desire to help others.

“Having been under the care of a provider for my diabetes since the age of 6, I can relate to patients who struggle with their own conditions and associated issues,” said Skelton. “Being compassionate is an important part of the care I provide.”

Skelton has experience providing acute care in emergency settings and enjoys the fast pace of acute care settings like Urgent Care.

“I enjoy working in an acute care setting because I never know what my day will hold,” said Skelton. “I also enjoy treating injuries and illnesses that require minor, in-office procedures, like stitches, and am skilled in providing this type of care.”

Skelton received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Lincoln Memorial University – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, Harrogate, TN, and her Bachelor of Science, at East Tennessee University, Johnson City, TN.

Skelton enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Her family enjoys attending sporting events and camping, enjoying the beauty of our region.
