I did what the video showed, the part around into the video where it talks about rebooting several times.. The only other option it gave me was to install Windows.. I don’t know what is wrong with it.

For me this is not an urgent issue. I might hold off to see if something emerges that simply clears the roadblock to the normal update proceeding. The in-place Upgrade keeps your files, apps and most settings in place. The only reason it won’t offer this is if the install is too corrupted, the main reason Windows won’t upgrade to new versions.

I gave you that easier option rather than the list of repairs to get Windows Update working, because if the Upgrade installs it will solve all such problems. But if you prefer to try to repair WIndows Updates because they are no longer installing at all, I can give you the steps for that which I give here multiple times per day since WIndows 10 was released.
