Recipe Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 16 ounces of tomato sauce
- 1 cup of sliced mushrooms (can substitute canned)
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic minced (about 1 – 1 1/2 teaspoons)
- 2 teaspoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1 pound of pasta
Recipe Directions
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker except for pasta.
Set crockpot to cook on low for 6-8 hours
20-30 minutes before serving, cook pasta on the stovetop until al dente (most of the way cooked). Drain pasta and mix in with sauce or serve pasta with chicken sauce mixture on top.
