You must use your intelligence to distinguish genuine celebrity accounts from those set up by puerile, attention-seeking imposters.

If you believe you have found the genuine twitter of your target star, follow them. At the same time, you must build up your own network, and post meaningfully so it does not appear you are merely a stalker. You must choose the right moment to connect with a star by starting to reply to their tweets. This should be regarded as a long-term project.

You may not get any acknowledgment at first but if you keep at it, without appearing to be self-promoting, you may eventually win the star’s confidence, such that you can begin communicating with them as you would with a friend.
