You can then delete these unnecessary entries. However, before doing so you should select the option provided by CCleaner to save a backup of the Registry, in the unlikely event that any deletion causes a problem with the computer.

Running a Registry cleaning program like CCleaner regularly can be very helpful in keeping a Windows computer performing smoothly and without problems.
