LOS ALTOS – Two vehicles were stolen and another half dozen were burglarized Monday morning in Los Altos, authorities said.

In addition, the suspects tried to enter homes, garages and other vehicles, the Los Altos Police Department said in a news release.
The incidents happened between 1:20 a.m. and 4:20 a.m. in the 1000 block of Laureles Drive, 300 block of Lunada Drive, 400 block of Pine Lane, 800 block Patrick Way, 800 block of Laverne Way, 300 block of Alicia Way and the 300 block of Alvarado Avenue, as well as on Lyell Street and South Gordon Way, police said.
The suspects stole a 2022 Volvo XC90 and a 2018 Chevrolet Suburban, police said. Both were recovered.
Police are asking residents who live in the neighborhoods where the incidents happened to review their home security footage for any suspicious activity early Monday, police said.
