Fire damages abandoned Pittsburg theater

PITTSBURG — A Fire damaged the Enean Theater on East 10th Street here early Saturday, according to authorities.

The Contra Costa Fire Protection District first reported the blaze on social media just before 6 a.m. Fire crews evacuated one home on East 9th Street as the fire grew from a three-alarm to a four-alarm blaze.

“This is an abandoned building and due to the concern of collapse we have pulled our personnel out of the building,” ConFire said on social media Saturday.

Officials said the fire was under control by about 7 a.m. The theater is located at 333 East 10th Street. No injuries were reported.
