OAKLAND — A 27-year-old Daly City Man was fatally shot Wednesday evening near the Uptown district, authorities said.
His name has not yet been released.
The man was shot about 6:30 p.m. in the 400 block of 26th Street, a mixture of homes and businesses, which runs between Broadway and Telegraph Avenue.
The man was shot after getting into a dispute of some kind with another person, authorities said. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Police have not yet said why the man was in Oakland or what the dispute was about. No suspect information has been released.
