Arrests made in robbery outside Livermore bank

LIVERMORE – Two men have been arrested in connection with a Robbery Friday morning in Livermore, authorities said.

Officers were called to the 200 block of South K Street around 11:30 a.m. for a report of a robbery outside a Wells Fargo Bank branch, said Livermore police spokesperson Azenith Smith. The victim told police he was robbed of cash as he left the bank.

A short time later, police found a vehicle matching the description of the suspects’ car at the Bank of America parking lot in the 1700 block of Railroad Avenue, Smith said.

Officers arrested a pair of Antioch men, ages 20 and 18, Smith said. The men were booked into the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin on charges of robbery and conspiracy.

Smith said police are investigating if the men are connected to a similar robbery at the same Bank of America on Railroad Avenue on April 13.
