Contact the airlines before booking so that you could quickly fulfill the requirements directed by the airline companies. Some airline companies such as Delta, United Airlines, American Airlines, Frontiers, and Jet blue may require some advance notice or detailed documentation. Different airline companies follow a different type of documentation procedure, so it is always better to discuss or mail the airline companies before booking the tickets so that you don’t face troubles afterward.

Vest… is the Best!!!

We have seen and heard about ESA vests but never needed them. It is not abided by the law, but if you put a vest on your ESA, it would be simple for the airlines’ staff to differentiate and identify your ESA. The airlines encourage this wise decision and help you dodge unnecessary confrontations.

Have You Reached?

When you reach the airport, it is advised to inform the airline companies about your arrival, once more so that they could do the necessary procedure and make you and your pet comfortable without any delay. But most importantly, you must have an ESA letter prescribed by a licensed therapist. Send this letter to the airline companies beforehand so that you could enjoy the benefits of traveling with your Emotional Support animal. As they would, first, verify you’re ESA letter, so if you would send them earlier, then they could do the necessary verification without any delays. On the other hand, if you would show them the letter once you reach it, then the time lag is justified.

Inform the Flight Staff.

Once you are allotted with the gate number then you must inform to the staff, also it would be propitious for you as well as for them, they could help you with your luggage and if your ESA is big then they must arrange yours seating in the bulkhead for you and your ESA’s comfort. If your dog or any other ESA is average, then the airlines would ask you to keep your ESA on the floor between your knees and take care of it so that it does not misbehave with the co-passengers. If you keep all these things in mind, then you won’t feel any hassle and would comfortably enjoy your trip. It is suggested to always carry your legit ESA letter with you, and if you don’t have one, then go for the pre-screening and get your ESA letter on your finger steps.
