Mares Eat Oats, & Does Eat Oats, & Little Lambs Eat Ivy…..

Don’t forget to look me up on Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter under “RealAutismSpeak” if you want to follow my daily exploits, for more than what I’m able to put out here–for the time–on this blog! Also on Clouthub, Gab, MAGAbook, Telegram, GETTR, Minds, Truth Social, and Locals as well….might look into Substack too.

If you’re wondering what in the hell that title is about….there was this song from the early 1940s that my Grandparents used to sing a lot–and my Dad being a pop culture nerdy type essentially introduced me to initially–called “Mairzy Doats”, and went into a full explanation of what the lyrics meant, and all that shit; why am I even bringing that up, you might add? Cause things have just been so fucking crazy and Busy, I somehow just realized it was the best segue into giving you folks an update, honestly; I’m not just gonna give you more of the “I’ve been busy” talk, but I’m gonna tell you about some exciting updates in the process; while I think I may have come up with some new content to post soon, I’ve still kinda “ruminating” on it, as it were, so for the time being, I figure I’d tell you what I’ve been busy with instead.

We’re all getting very busy with our jobs, everyone being short-staffed right now, and stressed out of our gourds; I get that. That’s part of why I haven’t really thought of much to say recently….barely even get the time to think; instead, I’ve been focusing a lot on working to get more shit cleared out of my apartment, doing a breathing technique I learned from a video about “Success“, finally managed to get my Bricklink store opened up (King Randor’s Castle, shameless plug there), and orders are pouring in there as well….got hammered with orders these last few days on eBay (KingRandor1982, username), but….something far, far more important came up that I thought was necessary and imminent to share:

I got home yesterday from running a shitload of errands, before I went into work. I was uploading the tracking information on eBay for the shipments, and for the first time ever, doing it for orders on Bricklink; I’d technically done the latter before, when I was shipping out stuff for the business I ran with my former roommate, but it had been months, at minimum, and honestly I hadn’t even used Paypal since then. Well, I had a few snags while trying to upload the tracking information with PayPal, and I was in a time crunch, as I hadn’t even eaten yet, wanted to make sure I had enough time to do that, wash the George Foreman grill components off, take my meds, and check my blood pressure.

During these moments in the past, I may’ve nearly gone into full-on meltdown mode, or started freaking out in some way, just due to the utter mental overload it all required. Well….due to all the work I’ve been doing with my connection to God, I started noticing I’m maintaining my composure a lot more than I ever used to. I was frustrated, with all the problems PayPal was giving me, yes, but I calmly proceeded thru it, and took care of what I needed to with as minimal of a hitch as possible. It was….like a sense of inner peace, really, if that makes sense. I notice I’m barely even getting really angry/having meltdowns, all that anymore. If my clumsy ass drops something, or other frustration comes up, it doesn’t bother me anymore the way it once did; I attribute it all to focusing on that connection with God, working on my own inner peace, and doing those breathing techniques.

So my fellow Autistic brothers and sisters, rather than wasting your time trying desperately to get people who barely even like theirselves to like you, focus on you liking you, and finding out who you genuinely are; I can’t even describe to you how amazingly worth it the rewards really are. You’ll start seeing your inner path emerge so much more clearly, and you’ll be cooler and calmer in your demeanor to your approach toward it.

I will either be discussing it in a broader way next time, or possibly a little bit down the road, but very likely I will be bringing this subject back up, in a bit of a topical way.

See ya soon!
