1. Where are they located?
Want to hear something cool? Great. Lazarus Naturals is headquartered in Portland, OR. Social CBD is located in Portland, OR. Here’s our first similarity.
However, Lazarus Naturals is somewhat distinctive and not just in this comparison, but in the CBD industry overall. They actually grow their own hemp, as opposed to buying it from hemp farms throughout the U.S.
Lazarus Naturals owns Lazarus Farms, which is located in the High Desert of Central Oregon. This is key in having full control of your product. Talk about quality control, they can actually control their quality.
2. Are they a legit CBD company?
Is Social CBD legit? We strongly believe so. Their parent company, Sentia Wellness is very financially stable and supports the commitment to offering Pure & Clean products each and every time.
If that wasn’t legit enough, they even partnered up with Sports Illustrated to produce and distribute a Sports Illustrated branded CBD-infused topical line.
You’ve heard of Sports Illustrated, right?
What about the other guys? Is Lazarus Naturals legit? Absolutely. Founded in 2014, they are one of the oldest CBD brands in the industry and go above and beyond to provide quality products.
They also belong to a number of industry leading hemp associations, including:

- U.S. Hemp Roundtable
Among others.
Both companies provide Third Party Certificates of Analysis for their online CBD products.

3. Do they have THC in their products?
To answer this question, we need to first discuss some of the key differences in the product types.
There are currently three types of CBD spectrums on the market:
- Full Spectrum
- Broad Spectrum
- CBD Isolate
Full spectrum CBD is the only version of hemp extracted cannabidiol that can contain up to 0.3% THC. Hence the name full spectrum.
Both Broad Spectrum CBD and CBD Isolate are technically THC free, although on rare occasions, minute, untraceable amounts of THC can be found.
That is simply because hemp contains 0.3% THC, so any extract oil, regardless of how well it’s processed, has a chance for tiny THC amounts.

Does Social CBD have THC? Technically, no. In the past, Social CBD used to sell their products with a different name. Remember Select CBD? Same guys.
The name was changed as part of a rebrand in 2019, when it became Social CBD. Social CBD was created to provide 100% THC free products.
Their products now come in only two varieties, broad spectrum CBD and CBD Isolate.
