CBD Oil Benefits List

If you’re a regular CBD user, you probably get frequent questions from friends and family members about exactly what CBD oil benefits you get. Some probably look at you funny and think you’re just sitting around getting high.

By now, most people are at least curious about CBD oil uses, and what are the health benefits of CBD. This was our motivation for this blog.

You can’t deny that CBD hemp oil is universally popular. With that popularity, and how easy it has become to buy CBD online, come a lot of new users, some who may not even know what it is they’re trying.

So, we wanted to put a short little CBD benefits list, and discuss some of the most frequent questions we get. We’ll start with the basics and work our way down to some of the Cbd Oil benefits users are claiming.

It is extremely important to note here that cannabidiol hemp extract is not yet regulated by the FDA, which means that the majority of the user claimed benefits cannot be officially verified or backed up. This also means that you will not find any reputable brand stating claims about any of the health benefits of CBD.

If you do, we recommend you stay away from this brand.

The FDA has approved only one drug, with cannabidiol as the active ingredient thus far. Epidiolex has been in use for treatment of seizures of two rare forms of epilepsy, Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS) and Dravet syndrome (DS). Recently, it has also gotten approval for Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, in patients one year of age and older.

The potential is clearly there and considering there’s already one CBD drug on the market means there can be more. However not enough studies have been done yet. This is why you might hear some say CBD is not a regulated market yet.

If that’s the case, why all the rage? Why has CBD hemp oil become more popular than Pumpkin Spiced Latte in October? That’s what we’re hoping to answer for you today.

  5. Does CBD make you tired?

As mentioned above, hemp derived CBD is just now beginning to get the full attention of the scientific community. More studies need to be done in order to fully understand the potential uses of this hemp extract. With so many positive user reviews out there, and the fact that CBD is generally well tolerated by the human body, why not give it a try.

1. What does CBD stand for? What is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol, and it is one of over 100 cannabinoids that is found in the cannabis plant. The CBD in the open market today comes in three main spectrums, full spectrum, broad spectrum and CBD Isolate.

Full spectrum contains all of the cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes of the hemp plant, which can include THC. The amount is minimal, as by law it cannot be more than 0.3% THC. That amount will not cause any psychoactive side effects, however with prolonged use it can show up on a drug test.

If you’re looking for CBD oil without THC, you can try broad spectrum, or CBD isolate.

Similar to full spectrum, broad spectrum CBD oil comprises of all the cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes of the hemp plant, however it is processed further to remove THC.

CBD isolate is the purest form of CBD on the market today. The quality brands oil contains over 99% CBD. This product is the most processed form of CBD, as it removes all other cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes. You’re simply left with pure CBD.

2. Where does CBD come from?

As mentioned above CBD is found in the cannabis plant. Let’s take this one step further, since most people automatically associate cannabis with weed. This only partially the case. The cannabis plant has two varieties that are differentiated by the THC content.

The marijuana plant is typically THC high and CBD low. While the hemp plant is typically CBD high, and can contain up to 0.3% THC. No more. This is due to the 2018 Farm Bill, which legally defined and made U.S. industrial hemp production legal.

While technically you can have CBD oil with very high THC content, the CBD drops sold on The CBD Haven are 100% made from hemp extract.

Our CBD products come from the hemp plant of the cannabis family. Full spectrum CBD can contain THC, up to 0.3% by dry weight, while broad spectrum and CBD isolate are THC free.

3. How to use CBD oil?

When it comes to CBD hemp oil herbal drops, or tinctures, there are a few ways you can use. The method that is typically recommended is sublingual. That is when you put the drops under your tongue for 30 seconds or more before swallowing.

That is because sublingual CBD consumption absorbs the cannabis oil directly into the blood stream and gives you greater bioavailability. It bypasses the digestive tract and CBD being filtered out by the liver before getting absorbed into your blood.

There are plenty of other ways to use CBD oil. You can add into your coffee, bake cookies, or even add into your oil-based salad dressing.

The hard part is finding the right spectrum and dosage. How you use the oil afterwards, can be the fun part.

4. CBD Benefits List

Looking for a Cbd Oil Benefits list? Our recommendation is to take these CBD benefits lists as suggestions only and try for yourself. While studies are currently being done and peer reviewed, there still isn’t a clear consensus in the scientific community on all the CBD oil benefits.

Except for seizures. As described above, FDA has already approved a cannabidiol based drug for help in dealing with three different seizure disorders.

What else can CBD do?

According to a large number of user reviews and drugs.com, CBD has the potential to help with the following medical issues, but it does require further study:

  • Acne
  • Anxiety
  • Arthritis Pain
  • Depression
  • Inflammatory Pain
  • Muscle-spasticity in multiple sclerosis
  • Nausea and vomiting associated with cancer
  • Nerve-related pain
  • Sleep Disorders

That’s a whole lot of issues, this magical, natural compound can help with.

Each body responds to cannabidiol differently, so what works for someone doesn’t necessarily have to work for you. It’s best to start with lower doses, and increase or decrease after at least 5 days, until the desired effect is reached.

We hope this short write up was able to help answer some questions you might have about CBD oil benefits. This hemp extract has helped a large number of people already. As it is natural, and generally well tolerated by the human body, why not give it a try.
