Our Review
The reason we love this Doufit EM-02 elliptical is because it offers tremendous value for the money. For under $300 this elliptical is sturdy, stylish and offers all of the essential features you need to burn those calories.
The simple LCD display of the Doufit EM-02 displays data including calories, time, speed, virtual distance, total mileage, and heart rate.
And with 8 levels of resistance, you’re also guaranteed an intense workout — this is a nice feature for the price of this elliptical.
The Doufit EM-02 also comes with an optional and adjustable seat. So whether you like to sit down during your workout or stand, the Doufit-02 has you covered.
There is also a drink holder for your water so you can stay hydrated — which we think is a nice touch and something not every elliptical on this list has.
All in all, the Doufit EM-02 is incredible value for the price, which is why it’s one of the best elliptical machines under $500 we could find.

Our Review
The ProGear 9900 elliptical is one of the more expensive ellipticals on this list — but it’s worth every penny and still comes in under $500.
The biggest benefit of the ProGear 9900 is that it comes with its own fitness app. You can select 1 of 3 workout goal settings: time, distance and calories burned. This allows for easy tracking and goal setting of your workouts.
You can watch your workouts right on that massive LCD screen, or use the convenient holder and watch your phone or tablet while working out (also great for watching movies on your devices while working out!).
The 29 lbs exposed flywheel is sleek and makes for a smoother, more fluid workout.
We also like the smart design of the ProGear elliptical. It’s compact so you can easily fit it in an apartment or house. Yet, it delivers a great workout due to its steep stepping path.
The various handlebars also allow for the most comfortable grip. However, the grips are static so you’re not getting a back workout with this machine.
All in all, the ProGear 9900 is one of the best elliptical under $500 your money can buy.
