5 Natural Ways To Boost Energy

Scott Prisco  Certified Nutritionist  Wellness Expert

Do you feel tired and fatigued? Like there is so much to do in your life but you never have enough Energy to do it? I know exactly how you feel and I’m going to help you boost your energy. Follow these 5 natural ways to boost energy and you will attain life-changing energy levels.

1. Eat A Well Balanced Breakfast

Starting the day off right with a healthy, well-balanced breakfast is one of the best natural ways to boost your energy. To maximize your energy eat the following: 25% of your breakfasts calories in protein (nonfat greek yogurt, nonfat cottage cheese, turkey sausage, eggs), 50% in complex carbohydrates (beans, oatmeal, 100% whole-wheat bread, quinoa, barley, potatoes, and sweet potatoes), and 25% in healthy fats (peanut butter, avocado, eggs, nuts).

Be careful not to overeat as it will make you feel tired and lethargic! Eat to the point where you are satisfied but not full.

2. Use Caffeine In Moderation

This is one of my favorite natural ways to boost energy. A cup of coffee, or your caffeine-containing beverage of choice, in the morning, will help increase energy, alertness and sharpen your mind. Caffeine is a nootropic, a category of drug that is used to increase mental performance in healthy people. It works by blocking adenosine receptors in your brain, making you feel less tired. Be careful not to consume too much coffee after 2-3 pm as studies show that can lead to insomnia.

3. Take Natural Supplements

Magnesium- Is required in the production of ATP, which provides energy for basic bodily functions including making enzymes and transporting nutrients. Moreover, magnesium converts the glucose you eat in food into energy. Taking magnesium in supplement form will make sure you’re getting an adequate amount to keep your energy levels stable and prevent fatigue.

Iron- Helps digest foods and absorb nutrients, giving the body access to all of the protein, fats, and carbohydrates from the food we eat. Furthermore, as the body obtains more nutrients from food, energy levels increase.

MSM- Flushes out toxins, allowing the body to use less energy dealing with harmful waste and to have more energy to use towards more productive activities.

Our all-natural supplement Youthification is jammed packed with magnesium, iron, MSM, and other nutrients that support a boost in energy. Moreover, customers oftentimes report that while taking Youthification they feel like a younger, more energetic version of themself.

“I have used the Priscotty Pure Youthification for a month now. I could not be more impressed. I am sleeping more consistently through the night, waking up far more refreshed, I no longer have the heavy mid-afternoon sleepiness and I can definitely see improvement in the strength of my nails. That’s a lot for only a month. I highly recommend Youthification!” -Richard Lippert

“After using this product for one month, I highly recommend it for the purpose of energy boost and the collagen peptides, which is for essential the functioning and maintenance of basically all the organs and systems in the body” -Judy G

4. Lighten Your Load

There’s a good chance you have a ton of different professional, family, and social obligations that are draining your energy, causing your fatigue. Try to prioritize your life. On a piece of paper make a list with 2 columns, your most important “must-do” activities, and your less important activities. Focus the majority of your attention on the most important activities only. This will streamline your life, taking a lot of your plate. You will start to see an increase in your energy levels.

5. Exercise

Exercise gives your cells more energy to burn and increases oxygen circulation in your body leading to an increase in energy. Furthermore, exercising increases brain dopamine levels, which elevates your mood.

Be cautious not to over-exercise. Studies show too much exercise can hurt your body’s immune system. Those that overdue it, oftentimes find themselves battling illness more frequently and their symptoms tend to last longer/are more severe compared to those who exercise in moderation.
