What is a Guide Runner?

“A Guide runner is there to assist the individual with vision loss to experience the freedom of Running by guiding them to navigate their surroundings in a safe manner, gradually growing their confidence.” Paul – Orientation and Mobility Specialist.

If you are blind or have low vision and would like to experience the freedom of running or grow your skills or confidence in running, Paul can assist you in achieving this goal using funding from your NDIS plan.

Training can take place on a track or a trail, on grass or pavement. Running will be at your own pace, in a safe environment, with Paul as your Guide Runner.
