A new analysis has shown that legal Recreational Marijuana access reduces the demand for expensive prescription drugs that are used for pain, sleep, anxiety, depression, seizures, or psychosis. Legalization of recreational marijuana reduced the demand for these prescription drugs through state Medicaid programs.
