Researchers Discover Hormone With Therapeutic Effects On Fatty Liver Disease

Rutgers researchers have found that kisspeptin, a hormone associated with puberty development and fertility in humans, could be used as a therapeutic option for non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD). They conducted a study on a mouse model and suggested that kisspeptin is effective at treating NAFLD.
