Insys Therapeutics’ founder and former CEO, John Kapoor, has been sentenced five and half years in prison after he was found guilty of playing a key role in enticing doctors to prescribe Subsys in an Opioid Kickback Scheme. Subsys contains fentanyl, which is to be taken sublingually or under-the-tongue.
