Coram, is a dihydropyridine derivative, slightly soluble in water and sparingly soluble in ethanol. Amlodipine (Coram) is a calcium ion flux inhibitor (slow channel blocker or calcium ion antagonist inhibits the transmembrane influx of calcium ions into cardiac and smooth muscle).
