Today marks International Nurses Day.
Thanks to the pioneering work of Florence Nightingale, her focus on the importance of sanitation and hygiene are principles that are still being used today during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aged care nurses make up around 14 per cent of Australia’s total nursing workforce and care for more than 1.2 million Senior Australians.
Nurses working in aged care are more important than ever, as they are preventing any vital infection and helping to control processes to better protect senior Australians.
We would like to send a huge thank you to all the PresCare Nurses and Carers
