I’m here to talk to you today about the updated Nutrition Facts Label.

Here I have side by side an old label compared to the new updated label.

The big changes that you’ll see are that the serving size is bigger and in bold – And this is the most important item on the nutrition facts label.

The next change you’ll see is that the calories are bigger and much clear to see.

Last you’ll see that underneath the total sugars, it lists added sugars that were not there before, And these are excellent tools for choosing healthier foods.

But remember we always want to include fruits and vegetables with our meals and for snack choices too.
