While we transit in metallic boxes every day, in our building up and down, some of us feel a slightly claustrophobic. We often imagine beautiful and unique lifts in the world, some of which we only see in movies: glass capsules, outdoor Lift etc. There are many extraordinary elevators.

1.The Bailong Elevator, China
A glass lift built on the edge of a huge rock in the Wulingyuan area. At a height of 1,070 feet (330 meters), it is considered the largest and heaviest outdoor lift in the world. Construction of the lift was started in October 1999, and it was opened to the public till 2002. The lift takes two minutes to ride from the base to the top, in which 50 people can be taken in one trip and almost 18,000 people are taken on daily basis.
2.Sky Tower, New Zealand
Legendary radio and television Tower Sky Tower is one of the sights of Auckland. Its visitors have a great opportunity to drive with a chic glass elevator and enjoy the Panorama of the city from an altitude of 196 meters.
From the observation level (610 feet in the air) the view is breathtaking. The ride up to the observation level is by a 40-second ride up in a glass-fronted elevators. The floor is also made of glass so that you can see the bottom of the floor for extra adventures of seeing the ground speed away from you, and come rushing back towards you on the lineage.
3.The Falkirk Wheel, Scotland
The Falkirk Wheel was opened by the Queen in May 2002. Nothing like it has ever been built before anywhere in the world. It is a rotating boat lift which connects the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal. The distinction in height of two canals at the wheel is 24 meters (79 feet), which is equal to the height of an eight-storey building. So basically, you're riding a lift inside a boat! It is the largest piece of functional sculpture you will ever see.
4.AquaDom, Germany
AquaDom is 25 meters high and 12 meters in diameter cylindrical acrylic glass aquarium in Berlin with an underlying transparent lift inside it. It has one million liters of water, one coral reef, and is home to nearly 2,600 fish from 56 different species. This lift takes visitors up through the inside of the tank giving the full 360 degree view of the fish as well as the divers who care for them and the tank on a daily basis.
5.Eiffel Tower, France
To go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, you must first take an elevator from the ground level. This lift is not a regular vertical lift, but a lift that runs the feet of Eiffel in a diagonal line. Then you go to a regular lift which takes you to the top where you can see the wonderful galaxy of Paris.
