  • When half the water is over, put the lota down and clean the nose. Repeat the same action in the other nostril, clearing the nostrils.
  • You can also do Jal Neti Yoga standing up and bending slightly from the waist.

It is very important to take precautions in Jal Neti. First of all, this Kriya should be done only in the presence of a yoga expert.

  • Water and salt should be in the right ratio because there can be a possibility of burning and pain if there is too much or too little salt.
  • While doing this yoga action, you have to especially remember that you have to breathe through your mouth.
  • It is important to ensure that there is no water left in the nostrils after Jalneeti Kriya as it can lead to a cold.
