US Cellphone Radiation Tests Ignore Long-Term Health Effects

It has been just revealed that, unfortunately, the US Cellphone Radiation Tests are ignoring the long-term health effects. we suggest that you check out the latest reports about the matter below in order to be able;e to remain safe.

The huge risks of cell phones

The recent ban on sales of iPhone 12 in France due to radiation concerns has raised worries across Europe about the potential health risks of cellphone radiation exposure. While tests in the U.S. mainly focus on whether phones cause tissue heating, some experts argue that they do not provide a complete picture.

According to Devra Davis, a cancer epidemiologist with a doctorate in science studies and a master’s in public health in epidemiology, the current testing method only checks for immediate effects and fails to consider the long-term chronic effects that have been demonstrated.

She further emphasized that cellphone radiation is known to affect sperm and testosterone levels, among other things.

Cellphone radiation tests are rigged

Ms. Davis pointed out that a major issue with U.S. testing of cellphones is that it doesn’t involve holding the phone against the body. She likened it to the “Dieselgate” scandal of Volkswagen, where the company manipulated its tests to show lower exhaust emissions than the actual amount produced by the vehicle. Ms. Davis added that U.S. tests initially used spacers, as if the phones were in holsters or holders.

Meanwhile, French government tests reflect the actual usage of cellphones, such as holding them in your hand or near your body. As a result, these tests have revealed that some phones exceed the radiation limits set by the European Union.

In fact, France has either withdrawn or required software updates for 42 cellphone models that emit excessive radiation since 2017, as reported by The Telegraph. Ms. Davis believes that the United States is lacking in this type of oversight.

According to a report by Harvard University’s Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics (pdf), the telecommunications industry seems to have a significant influence over the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

A telecom lobbying group executive boasted of meeting FCC officials 500 times every year, as per the report.

Ms. Davis expressed concern over the approval process for phones, stating that there are no programs in place to test them after approval. She also added that the process is self-regulated due to the revolving door between the FCC and the telecom industry. In her 2010 book, “Disconnect:

The Truth About Cell Phone Radiation, What the Industry Has Done to Hide It, and How to Protect Your Family,” Ms. Davis warned of the potential dangers of cellphones, similar to certain drugs that have been found to cause cancer and other health problems. She still stands by her claims today.

17 minutes on the phone boosts cancer risks

According to a review of 23 case-control studies published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology in 2009, frequent use of cellphones may have a potential link to an increased risk of brain cancer, particularly in studies that were not sponsored by telecom companies.

Joel Moskowitz, the director of the Center for Family and Community Health and Community Health at the School of Public Health at UC Berkeley, stated in a press release in July 2021 that the government stopped funding research on the health effects of radiofrequency radiation in the 1990s.

The review indicates that using a cellphone for approximately 1,000 hours throughout one’s lifetime, which is equivalent to about 17 minutes per day over a 10-year period, is connected to a statistically significant 60% increase in brain cancer, as stated by Mr. Moskowitz. The 2009 review was updated in 2020 to include 46 studies with comparable findings.

Cancer and living near cell towers

The International Commission on the Biological Effects of Electromagnetic Fields warned in 2022 (pdf) that radiofrequency radiation (RFR) exposure limits The public is not adequately protected by regulations established in the 1990s, particularly regarding the health effects of novel 5G technology.

Some bills currently in Congress could potentially grant the telecom industry unrestricted power to install their towers wherever they want, including right next to your bedroom window if you live in an apartment building, warns Ms. Davis.

A review of scientific studies published in 2022 revealed that most of the research indicates higher rates of cancer and radiofrequency sickness among individuals who live near mobile phone base stations. A recent study from Brazil found that cancer mortality increased with population exposure to radio base station frequencies.

Ms. Davis believes that 5G should only be used in medical and military settings, and not in homes, unless it is connected via Ethernet. The major issue is that in order to make 5G work, we need to install one million new antennas.
