Timothy Mowry is a proud US veteran and the father of famous twins Tia and Tamera Mowry. Timothy John Mowry, a Caucasian American, was born on January 4, 1957 in Miami, Florida. Like many American children, he enjoyed playing sports during his childhood. In Miami, he played football in high school and college. After finishing college, Mowry decided to join the military. He did really well in all the physical and mental tests, which earned him top grades. Because of his hard work and dedication, he got promoted to the important position of first sergeant.

This role was critical because he had to handle administrative tasks and lead battalion duties. Once Mowry retired from the military, he moved to California. There, he became a custody officer or jailer for the Glendale police department. This job allowed him to continue serving the community and keeping it safe. As of 2023, he is 66 years old.

Timothy Mowry and Darlene Renee first crossed paths in high school and soon fell deeply in love. They got married in 1975, even though they faced racism because they were from different races. After finishing high school, both of them joined the U.S. military and became sergeants. Timothy and Darlene served in the military with dedication and commitment. Darlene also managed their daughter’s career.

However, in 2015, the couple divorced for reasons that are not known. After being together for 40 years, Timothy and Darlene shocked everyone by getting a divorce in 2015. As a military family, they had to move around a lot, even spending a long time in Hawaii at one point.

In addition to her acting career, Tamera is also a vocalist. However, this setback opened a new path for Dontae Adisa as he discovered a passion for music. Exploring various instruments like the guitar and piano, he nurtured his newfound talent, eventually taking on the stage name “Dontae Adisa.”

In 2019, Timothy’s daughter Tamara talked about her parent’s divorce and how they have moved on in her show called ‘The Real’. Despite the fact that her parents had been divorced for four years, Tamara still faced a significant period of adjustment. She mentioned that her parents were no longer married and that they were all at different stages of their lives. Tamara’s mom prefers to keep her personal life private, even from Tamara herself.

However, Timothy is more open about dating again. Tamara shared that her mom was “out there” and she believed that she was dating, but her mom preferred to keep it private. She also mentioned that she had met her dad’s girlfriend, described her as Asian, and even greeted her through the TV.
