If you’ve been paying attention to our reviews, you may have noticed that we recently took a closer look and published a Arizer ArGo review and the DaVinci IQ review. Both are excellent portable vaporizers and are known to be competitors with each other on the vape market. Since you already know the qualities of both of these devices, let’s see how these mini portable vaporizers stack up against each other.

Design (Aesthetics)

Let’s start with the Arizer ArGo. The Arizer ArGo has a sleek, rectangular build with an LED screen and buttons on the front of it. The design of the ArGo is very basic but still manages to look attractive without having to do anything fancy.

The DaVinci IQ is the clear winner out of these two but doesn’t allow function to suffer for design. The IQ has a curved top mouthpiece with a rounded rectangular body and a flat bottom. The IQ definitely has a much sleeker body and goes above and beyond with unique LED light displays and a bluetooth connection so you can work your vape easily from an application on your phone.

Design (Build)

When it comes to the overall construction of both of these devices, they are both built extremely well. However, we have to say that the Davinci IQ also surpasses the Arizer ArGo in this category. Here’s why:

While the Arizer ArGo is well-built and does have some pretty impressive features such as glass tubing and a protective top to house your mouthpiece while you are not using the device, the ArGo is known to have less-than-protective pieces that are somewhat flimsy or could break easily. Combine this with the fact that there are a lot of separate parts to the ArGo and you have a recipe for disaster should you lose your pieces or drop your device the wrong way.

The DaVinci IQ is known for its solid build and does not have that many additional pieces that could get lost or break if they are not stored away correctly. In addition, you will never have to worry about breaking a display screen since the IQ uses small LED lights rather than an LED screen, making it an overall safer design.

Vapor Quality

When it comes to the flavor quality of the vapor produced by both of these devices, the ArGo is known for producing a better flavor experience for vape enthusiasts. Because it uses a glass mouthpiece and pathway, the flavors of your herbs remain untainted as they make their way through your device. With the IQ, vapor flavor is still pretty good. However, the conduction heating method doesn’t provide quite as great of a vapor quality and the additional herbal chamber does little to affect vapor flavor profiles overall.

If you’re looking for cloud production, however, you may want to choose the IQ. The ArGo is known to produce clouds of different qualities throughout your vaping session while the IQ is generally consistent with its large, thick clouds.

Ease of Use

Ease of use is a difficult category because it is hard to determine whether or not most vape enthusiasts would find a device difficult to use. For the sake of this article, we are going to base ease of use purely on simplicity rather than on all the different aspects of using the device.

In short, the simplest device to use is the Arizer ArGo. Even though many of the parts are separate from the device, there is little that you have to do to get set up and use it. Although clean up can be a little difficult, this aspect is very simple too as long as you maintain your device consistently.

The DaVinci IQ could be considered difficult to use but only because it is a lot more technologically advanced than other products currently on the market. If you are not someone who is great with phones or technology, you should probably steer clear of this one. Cleaning is relatively easy with the IQ but there are some parts that are known to be stubborn even if you do make an effort to maintain your vape after each time you use it.

Portability and Discreetness

Of course, both devices are very small portable vaporizers, so there isn’t a clear winner when it comes to how easy you can carry around both products since they are equally easy to take around wherever you go. What defines the winner in this category is whether or not they are easy to set up and how discreet they can be when you are trying to vape.

With absolutely no hesitation, the DaVinci IQ is the conqueror of this category. Let’s take a look at discreetness. The IQ looks nothing like your typical portable vaporizer, making it perfect to take around with you since the majority of people will probably have no idea what you are carrying until you put the mouthpiece in and begin taking hits. Also, the IQ is super easy to set up and is made even more convenient since you can control your entire vaporizer right from your phone.

While the ArGo is not necessarily difficult to set up or difficult to bring around with you, it does not provide a very discreet vaping session. You will have to pull out multiple pieces in order to use the device and begin setting it up wherever you may be at that moment. People will also be able to tell that you are using a vaporizer since this one does look like a vaporizer rather than a different kind of machine.

Battery

Both the ArGo and the IQ use rechargeable and removable batteries that last approximately the same amount of time for vape sessions. Therefore, there is no clear winner in this category but it is rather a tie between the two vaporizers. If battery life is a big deal for you, you could go to either the Arizer ArGo or the DaVinci IQ for this.

Which Should You Choose?

When it comes to the best vaporizer between the Arizer ArGo and the DaVinci IQ, we are going to have to go with the IQ. Not only is a it a well-built and fairly easy-to-use device, it is also one that really stands out from other portable vaporizers and one that gives you customization options you could only dream of. Both of them are great devices but the IQ really puts itself out there and takes the vaping experience one step further. If you are looking for a new portable vaporizer and you have to choose between these two devices, we definitely recommend the DaVinci IQ.
