Brock Lesnar and Steroids: Internet Rumors, Detention, and Controversies.

Now you may understand that an athlete with such enormous physical characteristics and career achievements would definitely be suspected in taking anabolic Steroids or other enhancing drugs.

Lesnar’s youth and background

Lesnar’s birthplace was Webster, a rural town situated in South Dakota. The future sportsman was born on July 12, 1977. His childhood was spent in dairy farm, where he was surrounded by nature. Of a German family, Lesnar decided to become a soldier in the National Guard. After that he worked in construction.

He had always adored sports and participated in all sports competitions, in particular football and Wrestling. As a senior, he managed to place third in a wrestling competition. After entering Junior College Lesnar continued wrestling and even got a wrestling scholarship to attend the University of Minnesota. His results here were excellent – 106 winnings in 111 matches.

Professional wrestling and NFL

His first professional contract was signed in 2000. There followed two years of hard preparation and finally he debuted in an episode of Raw with a tremendous win in a fight against Spike Dudley. Lesnar’s next step in making history was defeating “The Rock” in Summerslam. He managed to get the WWA champion title at the age of 25, which made him the youngest champion in WWE history. It is a well-known fact that wrestling is scripted. So the bosses considered Lesnar to be a wonder boy and wanted to use his rising as an opportunity.

There were several years of Lesnar’s popularity in pro wrestling, during which he won in biggest fights with Benoit, Goldberg, the Undertaker and even Vince McMahon, who was the head of the corporation. However, in 2004, the sportsman decided to switch to NFL, specifically the Minnesota Vikings team. However, a motorcycle accident and the injury caused by it prevented him from being the part of team, so he continued to participate on a seasonal basis.

Finally, after the period of wrestling in Japan, the athlete appeared in the WWE again to prove his champion title. And he did it in 2014 when defeated John Cena, which made him WWE Worldwide Champion in the heavyweight category.

Professional career in MMA

Being very successful in the field of wrestling, Lesnar managed to start a career as an MMA fighter too. And he did combine it skillfully. His first winning fight was in 2007, when he defeated Min Soo Kim in the first minute of the first round. After that, the UFC offered him a contract. As a UFC fighter he beat Frank Mir with the help of kneebar in his first UFC match. More recently, he won over Heath Herring at UFC87. Lesnar demonstrated incredible technical knockout in the second round in the fight UFC91 against Randy Couture. It made him the new UFC champion in the heavyweight category.

Lesnar’s next step in MMA career was winning over Mir in a grudge match. He managed to knock out his rival at the beginning of the second round. However after this match he spoiled his reputation by drunk behavior. In the front of the crowd of fans he screamed at his sponsors, blaming them for not paying money. Recently, he had to apologize for this.

In the end of 2011 there was very controversial match. Alistair Overeem defeated Lesnar. But this fighter was caught taking steroids. Nonetheless, after this fight Lesnar declared that he was finished with his MMA fighter career.

Fans were sure that Lesnar would return. However, all their hopes were dethroned when the fighter stated that he would continue his wrestling career in WWE. A surprise occurred, however, when Lesnar participated in UFC200 competition with WWE’s consent. His returning is associated with fight against Mark Hunt. In this match on July 9 of 2016, he demonstrated an excellent defeat. The judge decision in favor of Lesnar was solid.

Rumors about Lesnar’s steroid experience

Professionals and amateurs all over the world keep discussing the phenomenon of Lesnar’s physique.

No wonder that the sportsman’s fans support their fetish and say that Lesnar’s size is the result of genetics and hard training. Their presumptions are not unreasonable, as Lesnar is checked every time before competitions. His results are clear.

There are also people who have a skeptical attitude towards natural origin of such body sizes. They sure that there is something else, other than genetics, diet and training, which led Lesnar to success. This group claims that Lesnar has not been caught due to the recommendations of competent experts, who create the special regimen of taking steroids, which allows Lesnar stay in the clear.

Another group claims that there is a combined effect. These people are sure that Lesnar has such a powerful body because he has appropriate genetics, which are further developed with the help of both hard training and taking steroids. Looking at his school pictures and his appearance currently you will see huge discrepancy in his body size. His transformation is incomparable.

Skeptics insist on the fact that it is impossible to gain such massive bulk without using anabolic drugs.

Detention for purchasing human growth hormone

In January 2001, an unpleasant accident happened with Lesnar, who was arrested for storing great quantity of steroids. Nevertheless, the charge was dropped after several months. It is because the found steroids were tested and the results showed that these were not forbidden drugs. Nevertheless, it proved that Lesnar had used steroids.

The Louisville detective who supervised the case said that the drugs found in Lesnar were HGH medications. Later, Lesnar’s attorney denied this fact, saying that the pills were special vitamins. And when the second pill lab test was held, the officers who had accused Lesnar of taking steroids were apologetic.

Controversy concerning the doping

On July 15 of 2016 USADA said to Lesnar that his doping test, dated June 28, was positive. Besides this, the UFC officially stated that Lesnar’s second test, held on July 9, had also failed. Both results showed the same forbidden drug.

Moreover, Lesnar failed the Clomid (clomiphene citrate active agent) test, aimed at quick detection of certain molecules of Clomid, a steroid modulator. Athletes widely use Clomid for increasing the rates of hormones. The enhancment happens due to the process of blocking estrogen from reaching pituitary glands, which causes FSH, LH, and entire testosterone rates to increase.

If Lesnar took Clomid, which allowed him to maintain necessary stable hormone levels, there was no need for him to use anabolic steroids. Moreover, Clomid is commonly used for masking anabolic steroids. It’s a very clever way to deceive anti-doping control aimed at revealing these drugs. Nevertheless, you will not notice increase of quickness, strength or speed when taking Clomid.

Presumably, Lesnar was wrongfully advised by doctor to use this easily undetectable component, which remains in the body for 2 or even 3 weeks. It means that Lesnar likely used other anabolic drugs to achieve the necessary results, as Clomid is powerless in enhancing enormous power and strength. To cheat the test, he could take no ester trenbolone, HGH, special short estered steroid versions or testosterone suspension, which can be revealed 2-3 days after consumption.

His cycle is presumably short estered and taken in oral form:

  • HGH 10 IUs/ed;
  • Trenbolone (non-estered) 100mgs/ed;
  • Turinabol (oral steroid pill) 50mgs.

Remember, that this cycle is just a guess, and only published for information purposes. There is no proof that Brock Lesnar followed this cycle. Lesnar’s Clomid tests are not conclusive proof.
