The Face Shop Jeju Aloe Fresh Soothing Gel Review
I have been having this big baby with me for the past two months. And I am still not halfway through the tube! I got it after my Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel tube got over and I wanted to try some new aloe vera gel product. Most probably the one which contains a high amount of pure aloe vera gel in it. And this gel from the Korean beauty brand – The Face Shop stood out to me. Aloe vera being one of my favorite skin and hair care ingredient, it’s always available at home. And I also carry it with me during my travels. I use it for multiple reasons. For people who don’t know what Jeju is, it is an island located in East Asia. And here’s my quick review on The Face Shop Jeju Aloe Vera Gel.

This aloe vera gel comes in two packaging – tube and jar. Both the tube and the jar are quite huge so I won’t say that it’s travel-friendly. So you might need to transfer some of it in another container on travels. But the flip cap shuts tight so leakage has never been observed yet. Both the tube and the jar contain all the important details on it including the complete ingredient list which I am really glad they’ve put!

My Skin Type
Oily, acne-prone and sensitive
Color and Texture
The gel is colorless and it is very lightweight. You only need a pea-size amount for your entire face. It’s neither runny nor too thick and gets absorbed into the skin quickly. I like it how it doesn’t leave any greasy or sticky feeling behind.
Fragrance
It has a very refreshing and calming fragrance which is neither too mild nor too strong. I personally like the fragrance a lot!
Effectiveness
I use this aloe gel daily as a face mist. What I do is, in a small spray bottle, I add about 6 to 7 drops of gel and then the rest I fill it with purified water. I spray this mist on my face and neck every day once, sometimes twice in a day. It keeps my skin well hydrated and reduces skin inflammation.
I also add some of this mist in my powdered face packs. This gel can be used before applying any makeup to moisturize the skin as well.
I haven’t used this gel on my hair yet. But I can say that aloe vera gel has many hair benefits so you can definitely apply it on your hair as well. Or add it in your DIY hair care products.
Face Shop Aloe Vera Gel for Acne
It has been helping me to keep my facial pimples under control. It takes care of any skin redness and pimple marks as well. You have to use it consistently to notice a significant difference. My acne condition is mild to moderate at the moment. So the result may vary from person to person.

I love it!
This is my very first beauty product from a Korean beauty brand (The Face Shop). I personally liked it more than some of the other aloe vera gels I have tried in the past. It instantly soothes my skin and gets rid of the redness and irritation. While taking care of pimple breakouts too! I suggest you try it if you are looking for a new aloe vera gel.
