What’s my secret?

I’ve been asked this so much over the past week.

I mean a lot.

I’m going to tell everyone my secret!

What’s the gimmick? What pills do I take? What’s the drink? Are there Body wraps? Surgery?

The answer to all of those wishing is rather simple, no.

I don’t take diet pills. Just a simple one a day multivitamin and my iron pill. (I’m anemic so don’t think it’s some super secret reason…. I’m just anemic.)

There are no special drinks. No body wraps. And no surgery.

My weight loss is rather simple. Hard. But simple.

Exercise and watching what I eat. No special diet. Cutting out the bad shit and not overeating.

Yeah, it’s that easy.

I’ve heard everything why people can’t do it too. I’m too busy. The kids. No gym membership. Too expensive.

What do I have to say to that?

Bullshit.

Stop making excuses!

Don’t use your kids as a reason to not workout. There’s always time to squeeze in a workout. Buying healthy food is not too expensive.

What it comes down to is laziness. You don’t want to put it in the work. I know you don’t. Because I didn’t either. It was easier to make excuses for this or that.

Stop it.

Start moving and stop eating shit. Don’t go to McDonald’s. Don’t eat an entire pizza. Put down the Kraft Mac n cheese. Eat more greens. Eat more chicken. Make eggs. (Without the butter)

Another reason so many people don’t want to put in the effort is the fact it’s not automatic results. It. Takes. Time.

You didn’t put on that weight overnight. You won’t lose it overnight. I’ve been working at it for 8 months and I’m just over the half way mark of my ultimate goal. I’m just now noticing changes in myself. 8. Months.

It’s not easy. It was easy to overeat and be a fat ass. It’s not easy getting into fitness. I will be honest, I fucking hated the first month. So much.

Then it gets better. You get used to it. Your body wants that activity. You begin to crave it. It’s a good feeling. Your muscles getting tighter as the fat melts.

But that’s my secret.

No magic potion.

Eating right. Workingout.

Don’t quit, DO IT!
