Don’t Quit

We live in a society where giving up is one of the easiest things to do. If you don’t feel like it, just stop.

Why is that okay? Don’t want to finish school? Drop out? Sports too hard? Quit. Gyms too (insert whatever excuse) then stop going and cancel your membership.

How many of us have workout women in our homes that either father dust or hold our clothes?

Why do we always quit things?

Simple, that’s the easiest solution to our problems. That relationship is too hard? Quit. Running hurts? Quit. Those weights are too heavy? Quit.

Well guess what, knock it off. That’s not the answer and that’s not the solution. We will never get anywhere if we quit everything.

We set ourselves apart when we are faced with adversity. That’s our greatest time to shine. When everyone says we can’t do it, you do it. You excel and you succeed at whatever that thing is.

Growing up I was already picked on for being the chubby girl, being a bookworm, my goofy eye, and what have you.

I let that torment control my life. Any time I was faced with adversity I’d quit and slink off to the shadows. I let other people decide everything for me. I couldn’t say no or stand up for myself. I was always second guessing.

If you’re like that, if you quit because you’re afraid to fail, well you already failed.

It has taken me 33 years to realize that I’ve let the torment and bullying control me. Now, I’m done quitting what I want and I’m taking life back.

I’m shedding the unwanted pounds of years of self conciseness and bullying to show the real me. The me that is strong, confident, and not a quitter.

So don’t quit. I’m improve.

Hate your job? Okay, quit that but improve. Do what you love!

Signed up for classes that are hard? Don’t quit, improve. Study your ass off and prove everyone wrong.

Want to change how you eat? Don’t quit trying. Research and learn. Take classes. Ask experts. And improve.

Don’t quit because you second guess yourself. Stand up for you!

Don’t quit, improve.
