I did it!

Tags: figure soda food

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted. I’ve been busy. Work, school, life. It all seems to keep on going. There’s just not enough hours in the day for everything.

It has been a month since I gave up Soda.

Yup, I have not had a single soda in a month! 4 weeks. No sugary drinks. Go me. I’ve even cut back on the fast Food, chocolate (GASP), and processed foods.

I even got back to the gym! Yes, I did it. Back to the gym.

I can say that I’ve been feeling good. It’s hard getting motivated to go though. Those mornings are brutal, especially since I don’t go to bed till almost 2 am. (I have to do school at some point.) That leaves me with only six hours to sleep.

That’s not good either, right? Not sleeping. I digress. Until the work situation gets better, that’s what I’ll have to do. Gym it before going there. I have to Figure out my workouts though. That’s something I’m not being organized with. What workouts will I do on what days? I don’t even know how to figure that kind of stuff out. I figure the best way to get organized is to first, figure out what days I’m going to do what body part. Secondly, figure out what frackin exercises I’m gonna do.

I’m at a loss really. There is so much information out in the big wide webby world. What’s good info and what’s bullshit? I figured bodybuilder.com was a good source. I know my husband is a good source. Between those two I should be able to come up with some sort of plan of action. Something.

I don’t have much to discuss today. Just super proud of myself for at least getting to the gym. Making that effort.

I keep telling myself I didn’t gain the weight overnight, I’m not gonna lose it overnight. I have set goals for myself. I want to drop at least 10 lbs by Christmas. (DURING THE HOLIDAYS! What am I thinking?) 50 lbs by my anniversary in 5 months. 80 by my birthday in July. And 100 lb’s by this time next year.

Is it possible? Can I do it?

Yeah, I think so. The cravings for soda and Turner’s tea is actually going away. I don’t think about them everyday. Of course I have been substituting coffee instead. Better than Mt. Dew, right? The cravings for chocolate have diminished quite a bit as well. Which is a super huge shock to me. I am a HUGE chocoholic.

I also need to start meal prepping. How does a person meal prep???

That’s it for now.

I need to figure out workouts.

Do you have favorites? Do you have a routine? Leg days? Back days? Butt days? What do you do?

What’s some of your favorite post workout food?
