Do over

Can I have a do over? Seriously.

So my gym time has tanked, big time.

It has been a month since I’ve gone to the gym. I’m just FULL of excuses as to why. I ended up with the flu. My monthly visitor came after that. I was too busy at work. I had to do this, that, and the other thing.

Excuses, excuses, excuses.

So I need a do over. I need a new start date. Tomorrow? (I can’t right now, I’m at work…see another excuse. Though a legitimate one.)

How do you restart? How do you go from a period of being very active, to not, then back again? I suppose I’ll start from the beginning like I did before. I’ll start brand new.

I will admit that I’ve felt very defeated over the past few weeks. I’ve been gone back to eating like crap. And my bed. Ohhh boy let me tell you how amazing my bed looks after hardly sleeping then going back to it after Dropping the kids off at school.

I will fight against that. How am I going to do that? Not go home after dropping the kids off at school. That’s right. I’ll have my shit pack and ready for gym time when I leave the house. It’s still gonna be rough. It’s so early in the morning. I don’t want to do anything that early in the morning.

I should probably go to bed before 2 am. I know it’s bad staying up that late, but when you don’t get home till 2300 you NEED that downtime. I also need to do my homework.

So here I am. Full of excuses and needing a do over yet again. Will I ever get the hang of this? Will I ever be able to stick to my workout?

Yes!!! Yes I will!
