It hurts so good

It’s week two since I’ve started back at the gym. It’s been a rough and amazing two weeks. I do feel more energized, but I’m exhausted.

I’ve been wanting to get to Boyce Park to do some hiking, but with this crazy weather….ehhh I’ll wait.

I’ve been averaging 1 1/2 to 2 hours per Workout, 5 days a week. So that’s 7 1/2 to 10 hours of working out per week. That’s a lot. At least for me it is. What’s even better, I’ve been eating healthier. Salads. And not made with lettuce. Or even Romaine lettuce. Made with spinach. Loads of nutrients.

So how do I feel? How does everything feel? How’s it coming? How’s it going?

I feel good, but I WANT PIZZA!!! I want chocolate. I want ice cream. I want caramels. I want burgers and fries. I want shit food! I do indulge once in a while. Not as often as before. Just once in a while.

How do I feel? I do feel better. I admit that I feel better. They say after 2-3 weeks of working out it gets easier and you start to want to go. While I know I need to go; I haven’t gotten to the point of wanting to go. I don’t have that craving yet. I’m getting there, don’t get me wrong. Once I’m there and into my workout, I love it. That burn in the muscles. The ache in my legs and arms. I know that they’re getting something they’ve been needing. A good workout.

I love my gym. It’s a really great gym. But I’ve been dying to get out and hike. Unfortunately, as everyone knows, we’ve had and are having some weather issues. Hurricane Harvey just hit Texas and Hurricane Irma could potentially come up the east coast. While I’m further in-land in Pennsylvania, we could still potentially get some nasty winds and loads of rain.

I did a good 2 hours this morning. I like the morning workouts. It seems to set me up for a good day. Sometimes a great day. I can say that as I sit here on the couch, my legs and feet Hurt. My back aches. My abdominal s are sore. It’s not a sore/hurt that is bad. It feels good, because I worked hard to hurt like this. I plan on doing it tomorrow. And the next day. And the next. And the next.

Do you workout to the point of hurting? Do you like it? Or do you like the sweating?
