Treatment of Vasculitis Neuropathy in Ayurveda with Herbs & Herbal Remedies

ABSTRACT

Vasculitis is the illness with inflammation of the Blood vessels. Blood vessels circulate blood throughout the body, it helps to deliver oxygen to the different organs and various tissues. It helps to remove the waste products. Mainly blood vessels include veins, capillaries, and arteries. They form a close loop like a circuit that begins and ends at your heart. They together form a circulatory system and contain 60,000 miles of blood vessels. There are 3 types of blood vessels- arteries (carry blood away from heart), veins (carry towards your heart), capillaries (smallest blood vessels that connect arteries and veins). These blood vessels are located throughout the body, the main artery is the aorta which connects to the left side of the heart; it runs down the chest, and in many areas usually spreads to the lower body and legs. The main vein is vena cava, the superior vena cava is supplying the upper part of the chest and the inferior vena cava supplies the right side of the diaphragm. They appear blue under skin, even blood is red. They are usually made up of- Tunica intima, media, adventitia. Now we are going to discuss its causes, symptoms and its ayurvedic aspect further in this topic.

INTRODUCTION

Vasculitis neuropathy is a peripheral neuropathic disease that damages the vessels that supply blood to the nerves. When the inflammation is in blood vessels then it further spreads to peripheral nerves so develops vasculitic neuropathy. There is restriction in blood flow so it can result in organ and tissue damage. It can be a part of a systemic problem or it may even exist as a single organ issue affecting the peripheral nervous system. The normal transient nature of vascular inflammation related with the proinflammatory molecules from tissue parenchyma and circulations. Accompanying inflammation of the vascular wall is local and systemic that damages the tissues.
