Soak thy feet - Pedicure at home

You will need:

A small tub
A few marigold petals
A few lime slices
2 tea spoon neem juice (optional) OR any antiseptic lotion
A good moisturizing cream, for eg Cocoa Butter cream
A loofah or a foot scraper
Nail cutter, file and buffer

Add marigold petals, neem juice and a few slices of lime to a tub filled with warm water.
Now, soak your feet right in.
Rub lime slices on the feet, especially on cuts and cracks.
Then gently cleanse soles and heels with a foot scraper.
Use a loofah on the heels and under the toes to slough off dead cells.
Remove feet from water and wipe clean and dry.
Cut or file nails and buff them to add some shine to your nails.
Moisten your hands. Take a generous amount of cream, massage the soles and heels of your feet.

If you have dry feet, make a paste with these:

1/2 cup almond powder.
2 tsp glycerin
Milk for making a paste.

Mix all the above ingredients and apply this paste all over feet and legs.
When dry, massage with little milk all over again. Wash off with lukewarm water.

To soften hard skin around the soles of the feet and heels, mix equal quantities of castor, olive and coconut oil. Add 2 tsp each of sugar and lime juice. Rub on hard parts till oil is completely absorbed by the skin.

Voila....soft, smooth, velvety feet.
