How one woman deal with multiple miscarriages

I found this account by a Woman who went through four Miscarriages. I am sure women who went through a miscarriage can relate to the story. I had gone through two miscarriages myself. Therefore, whenever I come across a woman who has spotting (signs of a possible miscarriage) during early pregnancy, I will do my utmost best to relate my hope and disappointments to them. Some pregnancies went on normally and some ended in miscarriages for me. So, I usually do not like giving women in that vulnerable position false hope, yet do not want to burden them with more worries.

The fear inside

One in four pregnancies ends in miscarriage, but for many women the subject is still taboo. Monica Corrina-Kavalki, who lost four of her babies, talks frankly about the lasting emotional pain

Twelve weeks into my first pregnancy and I was on a high. Then the spotting started; only a tiny bit at first, but an hour later, there was more blood and I tasted the paranoia that would come to dominate my life. The community midwife advised me to take it easy and see how things were in the morning. That night felt like hell. The spotting stopped, only to start again the next evening. By then, my husband could read in my face that something was wrong. We shut each other out so as not to admit we both thought something bad was going to happen.
