A local group of dining and drinking spots has shut down one of its locations.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page from over the weekend, Tavern in the Square in Allston was either closed or getting ready to close, with an Instagram post from the business confirming that the Brighton Avenue outlet was indeed no longer in business, saying the following:

The Allston location of Tavern in the Square first opened in 2010 in the former Kells space.
A number of other locations of Tavern in the Square can be found in the local area, including in North Station and South Station, Burlington, Dedham, Littleton, Lowell, Shrewsbury, Tyngsborough, Weymouth, Woburn, and Wrentham.
