Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse at the Mall at Chestnut Hill Has Closed

It looks like a Japanese restaurant a few miles west of Boston has closed.

According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse at the Mall at Chestnut Hill is no longer in business, with its sign being taken down and OpenTable saying "permanently closed." It is not known why the restaurant shut down, nor is it known what might go into its space; if we get any additional information we will post it here, so keep checking back for updates.

Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse first opened in 2013, offering steak, sushi, teppanyaki options, and more.
