Chung King Restaurant in Billerica Has Closed

A Chinese and Japanese Restaurant in the northern suburbs of Boston has shut down.

According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Chung King Restaurant in Billerica is now longer in business, with a Facebook post from the Boston Road spot saying the following:

We opened the restaurant during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, navigating through tough times, facing numerous challenges such as increased operating costs, and economic crises. Believe me, this was a difficult decision for our management team. We cherish the community, and we wouldn't have come this far without your support. We want to express our gratitude to the Billerica community and surrounding towns.

The post mentions that Jade Pacific, which is also located on Boston Road in Billerica and which is under the same ownership, remains in operation, and gift cards to Chung King will be honored there.

The address for the now-closed Chung King Restaurant (which was also known as Chung King Mike's Place) was 446 Boston Road, Billerica, MA, 01821.
