A Louisiana-based chain that focuses on a popular food item is expanding to a space in the heart of Boston.
According to a source, Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is planning to open in Downtown Crossing, with a picture sent indicating that it is apparently moving into the space on Arch Street that had been home to a location of Pret a Manger. Once it opens, the new outlet of the chain will join others in the Back Bay, by Boston University, and in Marlborough and Methuen, and another is in the works for Medford as well.
