Dok Bua in Brookline Is Closing

A beloved Thai Restaurant is getting ready to close its doors.

According to a source (Caeli Bourbeau) within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Dok Bua in Brookline is shutting down, with a Facebook post from the Harvard Street spot saying the following:

It is with heavy hearts that we must inform you of our decision to permanently close our beloved restaurant.  Our last day of service will be Wednesday September 27, 2023. If you have any questions or need assistance with gift cards, reservations, or anything else, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] We're truly thankful for all the good times we've had together at Dok Bua. You've made it special.

Dok Bua first opened more than 20 years ago, offering a variety of Thai street food dishes at reasonable prices; the Boston's Hidden Restaurants website--which is affiliated with this site--awarded it best Thai in the Greater Boston area for 11 years during that timespan.

The address for Dok Bua is 411 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA, 02446. Its website can be found at https://www.dokbuabrookline.com/

NOTE: We need your help, as Leslie Hurwitz, who is the father of Marc (the founder of this site) is dealing with health issues and some major related expenses. Please donate at https://gofund.me/76d8ba28, thanks!
