Sweet Boba Opens in the Former China House Space in Boston's North End

A group of bubble tea places has opened its fifth location in the Greater Boston area, and this one replaces a now-closed takeout place in the city's North End neighborhood.

Based on information from multiple sources (and confirmed by a Facebook post), Sweet Boba has opened on Hanover Street, moving into the space that had been home to China House until it closed last December after more than 20 years in business. The new shop joins others in East Boston, Beverly, Needham, and Salem, and based on those locations, expect to see such options as milk tea, fruit tea, and smoothies on its menu while the Facebook post also mentions that some Chinese and Thai food is available as well.

The address for the new location of Sweet Boba in the North End is 331 Hanover Street, Boston, MA, 02113. The Facebook page for Sweet Bobs can be found at https://www.facebook.com/sweetbobatea/

NOTE: We need your help, as Leslie Hurwitz, who is the father of Marc (the founder of this site) is dealing with health issues and some major related expenses. Please donate at https://gofund.me/76d8ba28, thanks!
