Topacio Restaurant Reopens in New Space in East Boston

A Salvadoran Restaurant in East Boston whose building was hit by a fire earlier this summer has been reborn in a brand new space.

According to a source, Topacio Restaurant is now open on Chelsea Street, moving into a space that had been home to a few other businesses in the past, including Latino's Restaurant. Topacio had previously been on Meridian Street, serving such traditional Salvadoran food items as pupusas and pollo encebollado, but the place was destroyed in a fire in late June.

The address for the new location of Topacio Restaurant is 88 Chelsea Street, East Boston, MA, 02128.

NOTE: We need your help, as Leslie Hurwitz, who is the father of Marc (the founder of this site) is dealing with health issues and some major related expenses. Please donate at https://gofund.me/76d8ba28, thanks!
