A pair of diners known for their donuts will be expanding to a third location, and this one may be more of a restaurant and bar.
According to a post within the jobs section of the bostonchefs.com site, Donut Villa is planning to open in Newtonville, with the address given indicating that it will apparently be taking over the space on Walnut Street that had been home to Brewer's Coalition before it closed earlier this year. The job post mentions that it will be a "brunch club and bar" while a public hearing notice states that the upcoming spot plans to acquire a full liquor license and operate as a restaurant.
