Angelina Jolie is renting out Bryan Singer’s home, following her divorce filing against Brad Pitt.

The Oscar-winning actress filed for divorce from her A-list partner earlier this morning, prompting speculation not just about what caused the split but what will happen to their expansive real estate empire. Variety, meanwhile, reports that Jolie and their children have found a place to stay for the immediate future, renting out a house that belongs to X-Men director Bryan Singer, about 45 miles from the couple’s Los Angeles compound.

The ocean-view home was bought by the director in 2010 for $8.5 million, with tropical landscaping and mature shade trees bringing much-needed privacy to the estate, which sits at the end of a long driveway.

Leonardo DiCaprio has listed two homes in the last month, making him perhaps the most active celebrity homeowner in the USA.

The star of The Revenant put his Malibu beach house on the market earlier this month, but before that listing could get cold, he has already followed it up with a second property listing for his home in Studio City, California.

The four-bed, three-bath home sits on a 15,000 square-foot plot in Colfax Meadows, boasting understated luxury fittings, from a stocked chef’s kitchen with vaulted ceilings to a master suite with French doors that open onto a swimming pool.

He purchased it two years ago for $2.05 million and is now eyeing up small profit with an askign price of $2.395 million. Should he prove successful at flipping the property, he’s not short of other opportunities to do the same: he also owns pads in the Hollywood Hills, Palm Springs and New York city.
