Get Up Before The Birds!

A common trait running through most Successful people is waking up early. From Michelle Obama to Richard Branson getting up before the sun is fundamental to achieving goals.

But, why do goal driven individuals rise before the 9-5 majority?

Purpose

The main reason they wake early is their reason’s bigger, they desire to get up so they can achieve goals and live life. You might say it’s easy to get up early when they’re successful and life is going well. And that’s true, it is easier.

But, for life to get easier, hard word has to be completed. You don’t get something for nothing in this world.

If you’re not throwing back the covers and jumping out of bed to crack on with your work, then take a look at your purpose. Is it big enough?

Benefits

If you want success it makes sense to emulate what successful people do – model their life, taken on their rituals. Here are three benefits to waking early.

It’s All So Quiet

There’s a peace and quiet to mornings that’s hard to describe, it can’t be found at another time of day. Everywhere is still, leaving you with only your thoughts and nothing else – allowing you to fully focus on your goals.

The Early Bird Catches The Worm

Time is our most precious asset. We’re all given 86,400 seconds each day that have to be used, they cannot be carried over. The difference between a successful person and a not-so successful one is how they use their time.

Rising one hour early, 5 days a week for a year would give you an extra 260 hours per year – that’s over 10 days!! How would you use an extra 1o days?

A Fresh Mind Is A Creative Mind

I find my mind produces the best ideas in the morning. There are fewer distractions and less to think about. For the main part all my mind usually has to process on a morning is how hungry I am, what’s left are my ideas.

It makes sense to use your mind when it is at its most effective. Use the mornings for creative thinking and the evenings for exercise to release some tension from a productive day’s work.
