The decision is being implemented by the ministry in collaboration with the Insurance Authority with the goals of increasing economic activity in the insurance sector and providing employment opportunities for Saudi residents.

- The Insurance Authority will monitor the implementation of the Saudization decision from the moment it is issued until the goal percentage of Saudization is reached. - The Insurance Authority officially decided in December 2023 to Saudize all positions involving the sale of insurance products beginning in the middle of April. Workers in insurance who are not directly involved in sales are not allowed to collect sales-related commissions according to the decision.

- Both the sales sector and the overall rates of Saudization in the Kingdom are expected to be greatly impacted by the decision to localize the industry.
