Ministry of Health and SFDA called for reducing Salt intake, in order to get rid of this things


The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia said that people who want to lower their risk of high Blood Pressure should eat less Salt. Trending : Eid Al-Fitr is likely to fall on this date in Saudi Arabia



The Health Ministry also clarified on its (X) platform that five milligrams of salt a day is enough for cooking as long as herbs, lemon, and spices are used to make up for the lack of salt.

- Cutting down on salt in food can help lower blood pressure and the risk of heart disease and stroke, as per the Saudi Ministry of Health.

- Earlier this week, The Food and Drug Authority in the Kingdom said, "You are less likely to get cardiovascular disease if you limit your salt intake to less than 5 grams per day."

- In a post on its official platform "X" the Saudi Food and Drug Authority added that, "keeping salt intake at less than 5 grams per day (the equivalent of sodium intake at less than 2 grams per day) helps prevent high blood pressure and lowers the risk of heart disease and stroke in the adult population." - Meanwhile, the Consultant cardiologist Dr. Khaled Al-Nimr found two health benefits that happen when you eat less salt every day.

- Al-Nimr on his (X) platform said that a healthy person should limit their daily intake of table salt to less than 5 grams. This will lower their risk of getting heart attacks and make it easier for them to control their blood pressure.
