TGA announced a Fine for Transporting Passengers without a Permit in Saudi Arabia


A  fine of 5,000 riyals has been announced by the Transport General Authority (TGA) in Saudi Arabia for the violations related to the unlicensed transportation of passengers in the Kingdom. Most Viewed : Things to do and not to do during Ramadan in Saudi Arabia



The authority has also extended an invitation to unlicensed providers to join forces with licensed companies, stressing the availability of financial incentives and other assistance programs in an effort to boost compliance and elevate transportation service quality.

- The authority has launched the #DontrideWithNonLicensed campaign in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, the Pilgrim Experience Program, the Public Prosecution, GACA, and MATARAT Holding Company to promote safe and dependable travel. Providing safe and reliable transportation to and from the airports in the Kingdom is a top priority, and this campaign is trying to get the word out that utilizing licensed carriers is important. - As an example, travelers at Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport, can choose any of the 55 vehicle rental agencies, public buses, licensed passenger transport apps, and the Haramain High-Speed Railway and nearly 2,000 taxis are also available.

- Electronic payment choices and real-time trip tracking are just two of the many services offered by licensed transportation companies that aim to enhance the travel experience and guarantee the safety and comfort of their customers.
